Taina Tāngaere-McGregor

Taina Tāngaere-McGregor (Ngāti Porou) is a renowned expert on Māori oral history, who has passed on her knowledge to many researchers. 

Her masters thesis looked at the lives of Māori women during wartime, and more recently she was part of a research team that undertook interviews on Company C, 28th Māori Battalion.
