Zoe Thomas

Zoe has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Indigenous Development from the University of Otago. She says: "I was born and raised in Dunedin and studied at Queen’s High School. I whakapapa to Raukawa, a connection that has greatly influenced my studies as I am interested in the relation between my history studies and my learning in indigenous development."

Her summer project focused on Māori education during World War II. She investigated the impact that the Second World War had on Māori in post-secondary education, including tertiary institutions such as universities, in New Zealand.
