Dylan Thomas

Dylan was a summer scholarship student in 2019/20. He is a Politics student at the University of Otago, and a hockey player. He has participated in the National Māori Hockey Tournament for the Waikato-Maniapoto rohe every year since 2015 and is very proud to have captained the side in the 2018 and 2019 tournaments.

Dylan's Te Hau Kāinga summer project looked at the history of Māori and hockey from the 1930s to the present day. His report is Māori and Hockey: More than a Game.
